What should I use in the transmission, drive shaft and final drive in my 1986 R80RT?

I vote for Castrol Hypoy C 80w90 wt GL5 rated gear oil.

+1...most top name 80w90 GL5 gear oils is what you want.

Unless I read something wrong a while back in my manual for an 85, GL4 goes in the tranny, GL5 in all other places

+1 for GL5 every where. Just make sure you don't spill any on your tires. messy messy.
