Has anyone actually installed bar backs on a 95 K100 RS? What was your expirience, mods, net benefits, etc?

Thanks.

'95 K100?

I had an '89 K100 I had bar backs on.

I liked them, ended up taking them off as i got used to the bike a little more forward lean didn't seem as bad.

I still have them if you are interested.

I might be interested, will they fit a 91 k100rs? If so, what else will I need?

You will need a longer brake hose. Everything else reaches.

The 94 on K1100RS has a longer upper hose if you want to stay with rubber hoses, or you can install a longer than original braided replacement.

I've got a 91 K100LT and am looking for bar backs as well. Would this one require longer brake line?

On my 85 it did not. Not sure if the bikes are the same though since in some ways the 85 was the "Red Headed Step child"

On my '87 K100RT, it did require a longer brake line. A local shop made a braided replacement for $45.00.
