wanted solor seat, tractor style for my /5

Am new to the forum, been reading around and realize theres other places to post this but havent come up with anything in my search. If any one has one, I would be interested even is worn out. I don't want to pay the $500 I see them advertised for. Does anyone know if the Ural tractor seat would work? What about the Denfeld?

Order the aftermarket solo police saddle and use it for now. Looks good on bike, but does appear a little small. Keep going to swap meets and watching the used bike part ads and U will run across a bargain teutonic 1000 mile seat.

Try Hucky's Spare Parts and Repo's. Internet BMW Riders IBMWR have a vendewr list. He's on it. Several other venders carry it too, U may have to do a web search. I believe they make a oem police seat and an aftermarket one. oem probably has a metal pan and the aftermarket is plastic. Aftermarket probably a lot cheaper. I believe Moto Bins BMW has a web site that shows a picture of it.
