View Full Version : BMW Good Karma II

As the proud recipient of the first ”BMW Good Karma Give-Away” sponsored by the enlightened and generous Mr. Grey Matter, it is up to me to continue the tradition by passing on some item of un-needed motorcycle paraphernalia to another participant of this BMWMOA forum.
I am therefore offering a “Willy and Max” motorcycle ˝ cover to anyone who thinks they may be able to use it. This is a black nylon rain cover that was made to fit over the windshield, tank and saddle of my Kawasaki Vulcan. It won’t stretch far enough to fit over the trunk of my K1200LT, but should fit a slightly smaller BMW or other brand of two-wheel transport. It comes folded in a pouch just slightly larger than a BMW tool kit.
This new tradition requires that anyone wishing to be considered for this award should respond to this post by stating “Count me in!” or words to that effect. Entries received before Midnight, June 26th will be entered into a random drawing and the winner will be notified on this forum.
Count me in, JetDoc.
I have a new (just tried for fit and didn't like it) Throttle Rocker wrist rest I will add to the game.
Same rules, state "count me in, Rich" and I will draw a name at midnight, the 26th.
Grey Matter, this was a great idea! Thanks.

Count me in JetDoc. I would love to have a half cover.
I will also pitch in an eclipse tank bag for the good Karma list.
What the hay, nobody wants a Throttle Rocker Wrist Rest? I'll give this a few more days. Life is rough when you can't even give something away. :)

So Veg, I take it that you got the BatBike up and charging again?

Is the throttlerocker wrist rest a plastic potato chip lookin' thing that clips onto the throttle grip? If so, then Rich, Count me in! I'll look through my boxes of extra stuff tomorrow.
Thanks,
Michael

OK I got something to throw in. It's an oil filter wrench that I know fits the filters on K-Bikes, not sure about other models. This is a genuine German-made tool, only used a handful of times and VERY clean.
Please inform me if I have won any prizes.
BTW Brad, it never failed outright to charge- just did it intermittantly. I never found the problem but it hasn't manifested itself in a while. I recently had to neglect the bike for three weeks and it cranked like nobody's bid'ness when I hit the button! Still carrying the jumper cable just in case until I know for sure that I've got the gremlin nailed.
You are the lucky recipient of the Throttle Rocker wrist rest! Congratulations.
Email me your address and it'll be on the way. Or, I can always deliver it at the National. Let me know, and it's yours.
Rich
