Didn't the Brits invent GSing called trials many years ago or did they steal the idea from a German cousin ?

Good question. I'm fairly sure that as soon as bikes were invented, someone decided to ride around a field, somewhere or other. The WW1 and the mail services probably had something to do with it.

As a formulated sport, it's fairly easy to decide if we Brits invented it...take a look at how good we are now, and if we suck big time, then we invented it.
