As the October issue of Airmail is now arriving in mailboxes, it's a good time to mention that the Pennsylvania Airheads will hold SuperTech 2009 this winter from January 30th thru February 1st in Boyertown Pennsylvania.
This is a full weekend of airhead tech sessions and multi-media expert advice as well as some great camaraderie. Tech sessions will cover how airhead systems and components work, how to maintain and overhaul them, how to get out of trouble on the side of the road and how to keep these great bikes safe and reliable. Sessions will mostly focus on the 'later' airheads from /5 through end of production. We will have our extensive collection of component cutaways and demonstration units as well as some new cutaways and new session topics for 2009. Things you've never seen before.
We'll do the usual tire kicking and moto flicks on Friday night for those arriving early and then tech sessions all day Saturday until around 5pm. Students will have time to clean up and rest before the banquet dinner that evening with a Very Special guest speaker. You'll be sorry if you miss this one. Sessions will begin again Sunday morning and activities will conclude by noon.
In order to maintain lots of student/instructor interaction ST2009 will be open to only 60 students. Registration details will be published in the December Airmail and will be posted on December 1st on this forum, the Airheads.org website, the Airlist and the Boxerworks Message Board and registration will open at that point. To be fair to all we will have to return any registration like stuff received prior to publication. We will have a standby list once the max number is reached in case of last minute cancellations. We have always gone to the standby list so its worth the wait.
This event has sold out very quickly in the past so please do not delay taking action if you are interested. Hope to see you there.
