View Full Version : Chinese Stock Markets Updates
Here are some of the sites for real time updates, since the world media has deliberately ignored the impact the current economic meltdown is making on the three major Chinese exchanges: :hug

Shenzhen - http://www.szse.cn/main/en/
Hong Kong - http://www.hkex.com.hk/index.htm

JK - the moderators have received a request from another member to combine all your postings on economics into one thread called "Doom and Gloom" or something similar.
It doesn't seem an unreasonable request since these are all related to economics.
Please give this some thought..
Thanks!

Hi Don -
One member out of 30,000, boy he/she must be pretty influencial?!
Having received a recent unprovoked personal attack by an official "moderator," Dummerdude, I question the impartiality of current forum moderators.
Simply said, do you guys talk the talk, but not walk the walk?
J.K. :wow
P.S Request noted..., but the topics and issues are quite separate.
Given the "hits" per thread, they seem to be more popular than most. Since they deal with different topics and interests than most other Campfire threads, maybe I'm attracting a new type of Forum participant/viewer.
Clearly, it's time for the BMWMOA to be more diverse and inclusive, rather than discriminative and exclusive. :hug
Or don't you agree? :thumb

You take yourself and me MUCH too seriously.. :wave
I just passed along the request. What you do with it is up to you. And if you have any problems with the impartiality of the moderators I'd suggest you take it up with Lee.
As to my agreement - it's sorta like asking "When did you stop kicking the dog?" isn't it? No answer is forthcoming.

Sorry Don -
But you had the opportunity and ability to make a private request, via Forum e-mail, yet you chose not to. :scratch
Sadly, these are trying times and serious subjects that affect each and every member of this Forum.
Maybe I was mistaken that the MOA wanted participation and utilization of this Forum to be encouraged?
Simply put, if you want to broaden Forum participation and popularity, then you need to broaden topics and interests.
In summary, it's all about the Law of Attraction and who "owns" this Forum. No wonder this last item (who owns the Forum) has attracted so many members who express the popular viewpoint for the need of Forum policy changes regarding participation, administration, and moderaters.

P.S. Where you expressing a personal opinion, or making an official request?
