Whoop Whoop Whoop!
Have been a Cowboy's fan (yup...here in WI - Packer Country!) since the seventies, when Texas Stadium was new (1971) and Don Meredith was the quarterback.
Still a loyal fan.
Man, what a game! Announcers commented that we were probably watching the two best teams in the NFL slug it out, and the score reflected that.
Great Game!

They may be the best teams in the NFL, but the Broncos are definitely the luckiest.
J.K. :wow
P.S. Only Hilliary sports a bigger pair than Shanahan. :thumb

I don't know about Sue, but I am trying to figure out where to watch next weeks game. I am currently living in a house full of Cowboy fans.
:banghead
Where did I go wrong as a parent?

I have really enoyed watching the Cowboys over the years; it seems like thir games are explosive, the coaches were guys who were not 'fraid to mince words with their players OR the public. I repeat Greenwald... "How Bout Those Cowboys? WHAT A GAME!
HOWEVER, I owe my allegence to the Denver Broncos; I did a silent promise a few years back, in fact TWO promises..the first one just before the GREAT John Elway and the Broncos won the first superbowl, and a year later, I did a SECOND PROMISE that if they could just pull it off again, I would forever hold my allegence to the Broncos... and Elway seemingly did it single handed...
John Elway made the impossible look hard, and somehow through sheer determination, and a little luck, pulled it out time and time again!
Go Broncos! Jay Cutler? Hopefully Shanahan has got this pick right...:thumb

Alas the poor Chargers!?
Suffering from the curse of "Marty", no wonder their Super Bowl chances are "Shot." :banghead

With my son and I loyal Cowboy fans, my arrogant brother-in-law living in San Diego, and my daughter a teacher in Castle Rock, CO, Sundays are quite vocal and emotional over the phone lines post-game.
Ahh.....basking in the limelight of success right now (but then again, the season IS only two games old!).

My son is a graduate of TCU. I had the extreme pleasure of watching LT run for his last two years there. What a football player. I suspect his abscence will be a killer blow for the Chargers. Norv Turner was a great offensive coordinator........I'm trying to be kind. :dunno

Yeah No Defense Baby!!
No defense by either team. Over 700 yards given up on both sides of the ball. Will be different story when they play the Packers D and have to go on grass. Pack dont play the tampa 2 and 81 wont draw double because Wood is playing (2 INTs with a broken toe). Whitten will not be able to roam free with Hawk and Barnett underneath and Rouse/Bigby on top.
Rodgers has to be licking his chops for some of that great Dallas D!!!

I've often wondered.....do other areas also create this kind of stuff? If I went to TX, would I find some song about the Cowboys set to "The Yellow Rose of Texas?" :scratch

Please accept my humble apology to anyone who is offended or feels demeaned by the sight of the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders. I will, as restitution, buy no more of their calendars, henceforth. :whistle

I will never understand how anyone born and raised in Wisconsin can be a Cowboys fan. :dunno

I have come to the conclusion that being a Packer fan is imprinted on the DNA of most people born in Wisconsin. If it isn't the hospital screwed up. It is an aquired taste for those that just live there.
