View Full Version : Weird - Reply Button Missing

Tried replying to a post, and couldn't find the button. Felt like quite the moron. Finally logged on from work, and there it was, right next to New Thread. On my home computer I see New Thread, but no Reply. There's not even a place for it, the New Thread button is at the far right. The edge of the frame isn't being cut off, I see the borders of posts, and the next thread and quote buttons.

I'm using a Mac G4 with OS 10.1.5 and Internet Explorer 5.2.3.

Anybody else ever have this problem? Is it time for a new computer? Or am I being pre-emptively censored? Or maybe it's just a sign that I should spend more time on the forums at the office.

Thanks for your help.

Hmmm. I'm not a Mac guy, but Knary is. Just as a general question, what is your screen resolution set to?

You may also want to try scrolling all the way down to the bottom as there is a reply button down there as well.

Internet Explorer should be just fine, what I am using as well as Netscape, but I am on a few PC's.

If you hover to the right of the New Thread button do you get a "hand"?:dunno

Well, I figured out I could reply by using the quote button. Still can't see a reply button, though.

Dave - Monitor resolution is set to 1152x870. Also tried 1024x768 and 1280x960, but no help.

Brad - Nope, no button at the bottom, either. There isn't room for one either top or bottom, because the New Thread button is nearly to the right side of the frame. Nor do I get a "hand" next to it.

Oh, well, at least I've got a workaround. Thanks, guys.
