Then I would highly recommend that you attend one of the shows on his current tour. Just enjoyed him last night. Never saw the man (or the T-Heads) live before.
Show was great. Instead of one or two synth players, he is traveling with a drummer, bass, percussionist, and the Tosca Strings (4 violins and two cellos).
Great show with a good mix of his solo work along with a good representation of the Talking Heads music. You haven't lived until you hear "Psycho Killer" or "Blind" done with a string section. On more than one occasion, Mr Byrne rocks out on his gee-tar and the drums/percussion had the area in front of the stage packed with dancers for 2/3's of the show. (Grand Rapids people ain't known for their public displays of dancing!!)
The tour is continuing across the US for the rest of June, then over to Europe for a month, then he is coming back to Canada and the US for another month with 4-5 gigs a week.
