repair estimate question

The little flap that covers up the gas cap fell off today, the cast cracked off and went for a little "clang clang" at the gas station when I went to flip it open to gas up.

anybody had this happen? I was wondering on how to go about replacing the darn thing on a GS...... or G$ I mean...

From the fiche, it appears that you need to purchase the whole filler cap to the tune of $102.99. Then there's the additional matter of swapping over your lock cylinder to the new cap so your ignition key still opens it. Haven't been there done that myself; hopefully the swap is DIY easy.
