Life Is A Beach

This had to be the prettiest day of this summer. 56 degrees at sunrise followed by a high of 85. There wasn't a cloud in the sky as I rode highway 26 to Seaside, OR this morning. I stopped at Camp 18 for breakfast before continuing on to Canon Beach along Highway 101. The tide was rolling in as I captured this little kid, maybe 2, collecting sand from his backyard and transporting it with his mom's help to the tide line on the beach. There he carefully squatted down and dumped his load of dry sand neatly onto the wet beach. Ya had to be there to appreciate the effort all that took from a toddler.

Kayaking off Woman Key about 7 miles out of Key West. This was a real treat since conditions have to be just right for them to get here...
