Cut & paste from Google Map

I've noticed several forum users posting what appears to be a graphics cut from Google Map.

I've fooled around trying to cut & paste from Google Map but have been unsuccesful.

Any tips? Thanks!

There may be an easier way to do this but I use the "prt sc" key (usually somewhere around the F12 key) to copy the screen, paste it in to whatever paint program I feel like using, then save it as a jpg. If you use alt+prt sc it will copy only the active window.
