I ran out of gas. Yea my buddy turned the reserves on me. He had a good laugh.

If you are from out of town and ever ride through here, make sure you get up on skyline. It is an amazing world known ride. Just bring some gas.

Attached is a terrible picture from my phone stuck up there.

OK, as a fellow airhead rider I have to ask, how with 3 reserves on an airhead did you run out of gas?????

Regards, Rod.

Yep:

1) Left side up to reserve
2) Right side from off to on
3) Right side up to reserve

If you need to have both petcocks open to keep the bike running, you have something blocking them.

Ha Ha! I just turn both on and I'm done with it and don't worry about it till I have to go to reserve, at which point I generally do one at a time,

call me lazy but some things just don't seem worth over complicating.... Ha Ha!

and yes, I'm well aware that you only need one...(just so I don't appear to be a complete idiot!)

well actually if you think about it in those terms and include the normal "on" as a reserve, you really have four

1: on on left
2: on on right
3: reserve on left
4: reserve on right!
