Lake Hartwell

Good cool weather in GA. Packed up the bike threw my girl on the back and camped out at lake hartwell. Hart GA state park very nice clean good lake front sites. Highly recommend. Checked out the dam and went for nice day long ride around the lake to check out Clemsons campus what a cool stadium and campus.

Hart County is the only one of the 159 counties in Georgia named after a woman! The lake/State Park is a little known treasure, tucked away up there by SC.

If you haven't already, you should check out the BMW MOGA web site calendar for our GA club meeting dates at the other State Parks. Often a group will camp the night before.

I have been checking out the site and want to join. I have the October meeting on my calender are you having a sept one?

The two plates thing came out of necessity now its kind of cool. I have a double helmet plate lock which needs a special tool to unscrew which I lost. I could only take off the bottom screws when I moved from Ohio to GA. I can get the tool I need but now I just kind of like it.

I believe the September Meeting is in conjunction with the "Mini-Rally" at Tobesofkee SP. You really should come to that. We have the whole SP Beach area for the weekend for camping, swimming, BBQ etc....for the whole families.
