I tried searching, but I couldn't find anything. Is there a list handy?

The Anonymous book has a list of past rally locations (page 8 in the 2008 edition).

Somewhere there was a page online with the past rally sites and the zone map.
I thought there was but I can't find it any more.

Been to 13 of these:). I had better get off 13 and add another, yes! Hard time deciding about Tennessee next year, or Alaska I have always wanted to get done. West Coast here, so Alaska seems as close as Tenn..nearly anyways:). Happy Trails, Randy"Polarbear":D

By states, the frequency of rallies breaks down as follows (Yup - retired guy and way too much time on my hands. Besides, killing a few minutes until warm enough to go outside and attempt replacement of my low beam bulb on the R1200RT...God help me!):

Wisconsin - 3

California - 2
Colorado - 2
Michigan -2
Montana - 2
New York - 2
Ohio - 2
Oregon - 2
Tennessee - 2 (incl. 2009)
Vermont - 2

Arizona - 1
Connecticut -1
Florida - 1
Illinois - 1
Indiana - 1
Minnesota - 1
Missouri - 1
North Carolina - 1
Pennsylvania - 1
South Carolina - 1
South Dakota - 1
Texas - 1
Washington - 1
West Virginia - 1
Wyoming - 1

Canada - 1

25 of our 50 states have seen a BMW rally (plus one in Canada....have we annexed them yet?!).

No pattern showing up yet, Robert, but somewhere out in cyberspace a UFO conspiracy theorist is entering this data into a matrix. The truth is out there.

Due to the high price of jet fuel, the black choppers are still parked in my back yard.

Illinois did at least get one!

But looking forward to the west coast in 2010!!!!

Kbasa's back yard should be almost big enough.

The last annexation attempt didn't go too well, you burned York, we burned Washington, then we went home. (Must have the beginning of hockey season).......LOL

I have enjoyed my sojourns into our big neighbor to the north, having breakfasted several times in Sault Ste. Marie before heading out on 17 with the R1200RT, or having trailered my boat to go fishing out of Kenora at the top of the Lake of The Woods area.

But we will never take you guys seriously until you start putting ketchup (instead of vinegar) on your fries!

Hmmm, this might help in identifying the general area where the rally will occur, but maybe not the region/year issue:

WI does have the most by number, most dedicated, and longest riding BMW riders in the U.S. (according to riders providing data for the mileage contest anyway)! Maybe a permanent rally site in WI?

OK, only kidding, don't freak out...I really do want it to move around so I am encouraged to discover other beautiful areas/states.

I was in TN and N.C. (Great Smokey Mountain National Park, Hwy 129, etc.) this summer and it was fun and wonderful riding. I'm definitely going back for the rally.

Thanks, go right ahead. I did forget one, but the one up there now has them all and I added a title.
