The link in the chain of my F650 has the locking clip missing. It is Saturday night, and everything is closed. It gets better: we forgot to bring our MOA anonymous handbook.
Can anyone hook me up with somebody in the Anonymous book that is in or close to Buffalo NY.

Thanks

Ingrid

Find a paper clip and snugly wrap a figure 8 around the pins, making sure that the clip wire is down into the grooves on the pin. I had to do this to a chain on an F650 while touring in Africa. It worked just fine for several thousand miles until I could get to a dealership. Be sure to twist the wire snugly but not tight enough to break.

It's moot now but a piece of wire from a twist tie will get you out of trouble.
Burn the paper off w/ a match/lighter. :brad
