Yesterday, my O5 CS started being sluggish on acceleration. If I accelerated slowly, no problem. Go just a litter hard and the CS would act like it was starving. I have 28K miles on. Last Service was 25K.
I will check the air and fuel filter and put some injector cleaner in the next gas of tank.
Any other suggestions?
Thanks,
Mark

I have had my CS be pretty sluggish on acceleration but then it would run fine after about 3K rpm's. After a few times I noticed that it only did it when it was freakin hot outside. Today coming home from work it was doing it. It was also 104 degrees outside.
How hot was the outside temp when the bike was doing that?
I can't really blame my bike for not liking hot weather, I don't much care for it either. :violin

We have only been getting into the low 80's here in Milwaukee. This has been a mild August compared to the past. Global Warming? What are they talking about? We have had nights into the 50's.
Yesterday, while riding around doing some errands, I stuck my had over the air intake to see if it sucking any air. and it is not! So I have to open the manual and pull the left side plastic to see what is up. I will get to that after work today.

I pulled the left side cover and found that the air snorkel didn't seem to be seated correctly. Seated and tried the bike out. Still sluggish. The air filter is dirty and of course I can't seem to find a third party replacement. SO, I will check out the local dealer and see if they have one in stock. They closed at 3PM so Monday, Monday...
I have put fuel injector cleaner in with the last fill up. May take a tank for that to work.
