Is there a way to ignore posts by specific users? For various reasons, drivel, BS, stupidity, outrageous comments, profane behaviour, etc I would really like to be able to cancel these folks out of MY enjoyment of the various forums.

Do I have to be following a specific thread and then when one of these folks does their contribution, I plug in ignore to that person, and then the whole thread dissapears because they are a contriubtor. Seems, the drivel that is put out that there are several posters that contribute just to see their thoughts in print no matter how worthless.............this basically is what I am trying to get rid of for me......

Thanks for your help..........Dennis

There is an even easier way :)

When you are reading a thread and run across a user you really want to ignore, just single click on his name (<---- highlighted there to the left) and select "View Public Profile" from the dropdown menu. If you are viewing a list of threads and see their username in the thread list, just click it for the same result.

In that user's public profile, about dead center, you will see "Add Ted to Your Ignore List". Click that :)

You can always manage your ignores in the "Buddy / Ignore Lists (http://www.bmwmoa.org/forum/profile.php?do=editlist)" area, linked at the bottom left of your Control Panel.
