Has anyone successfully added a Sargent seat to an 03-04 K1200GT with a heater? I would like to have a custom seat, but want to be able to use the factory controls with it. According to Sargent I can have a heater added to the seat, but I have to use their controls. Clearly an option I want to avoid. Any ideas? Can it be re-wired? Resistance issues? Thanks in advance. By the way, I'm a new K12GT owner. A bike this smooth at speed should be criminal. How such an amazing machine comes standard with such a horrible seat is astounding.
