I'm going to NYC for business in September, but I'm going a few days early, arriving on the 13th, for sightseeing. The first two nights will be on my dime. Does anybody know of a good centrally located hotel for under $200/night? I'll be staying at the Hudson Hotel during the trade show.

"centrally located" for under 200 bucks?

my parents stayed here in may, not too shabby
but that's just my takes, let tessler hook u up proper!
Or, try one of the many Hostels located in Manhattan:

And, you meet the nicest people!

I was thinking about setting up a Camp Beers in Central Park but I am not aware of the zoning code. :deal New York City Department of Parks and Recreation
Rule #1085 (http://www.nycgovparks.org/sub_faqs/index.php?action=artikel&cat=8&id=86&artlang=en) "alcohol is prohibited in all parks."
But that won't stop us from having a Mobile Camp Beers at any one of several thousand bars and restaurants! :thumb
