I have no real interest in this information. But it might be fun. We'll see.

I emailed my wife and ask her how I should answer this. Well she first said motorcyclist, then she said is there a space to answer "One that fills garage with everything except my car" We have 5 dirtbikes, the Valk and the new RT. No room for cars. I would like to see someone on here write the definitions of each of the catagories. I am not clever enough.

I am me and I ride.
As for what others might think of me. That is for them and I'm not really concerned with it.

Not voting because you're forced to choose only one. I am pretty much all of the above (even bonehead, occasionally) but I AM NEVER A "BIKER".
I think (and I think a lot of non-riders also think) a "biker" is a rider of a loud Harley who more than likely just left a bar with a full tank, if you know what I mean.
I care about the image I convey to others, and I am always gratified when I hear non-riders commenting how quiet my bike is, or commenting about my helmet and gear.
I am the antithesis of the "biker".

I cringe when someone calls me a "biker". I think of myself as a rider or a motorcycle enthusiast.

Whenever I say I ride a motorcycle people always ask if it is a Harley.
:hungover
I'm 53 with graying hair, well salt and pepper. So I guess I look like a mid-life Harley guy instead of a mid-life BMW guy.

I would say I'm a Motorcycle Rider.

When it comes up and folks assume Harley I say, rider... not poser.

I answered biker. I used to make my living riding a motorcycle and used one for transportation since 1972. To me biker does not have a negative connotation or necessarily imply that you are a 1%er.
I ride for my reasons, not to be waved at or thought well or ill of by others.

I voted enthusiast as there are many bikes that appeal to me. I enjoy watching racing and moto-X as well as trials events and marvel at the skills displayed by the riders. I like the quote " 4 wheels move the body, 2 wheels move the soul", it works for me. Ride Safe

What a load, Haley Riders are the worst for not waving back. They only wave to other REAL riders. I'm a BMW Rider and proud of it.:rocker

It is, after all, a poll of great INsignificance! Those were all terms that I used to use interchangably, except "bonehead", that had very specific uses, lol, but have decided after spending time on other "biker" websites, to no longer swap freely.
Interesting responses!:bikes

All of the above. Biker has a negative connotation, but that is not my fault. I don't really care what others call me. I like to ride.
