A squid is an irresponsible motorcyclist. The term is derogatory and common among motorcyclists in North America.It is generally associated with a new or reckless motorcyclist seen riding erratically and/or beyond his or her capabilities, often without appropriate riding gear.
The origin of the word is varyingly attributed:
* A contraction of:
o "Squirrely" and "kid" (possibly taken from California surfing culture), or
o "Squished" and "kid", or
o "Squished" and "idiot"
o Also of note: "squidly girl" or "Squirrel"
* An acronym for:
o "Stupidly Quick, Underdressed, Ignorant and Dangerous", or
o "Stupidly Quick, Underdressed and Imminently Dead", or
o "Super Quick Until I Die"
With regard to the video...

A slight variation of Darwin's law demonstrated.
If you do something stupid long and/or often enough, you will hurt yourself.:violin

Gee, I have to admit that in 34 years of riding, I've never tried that stunt, or wished to try that stunt.
Now I know why I never made the "Squid" list........Rod.
