So I am in need of some were the h%ll is it advice.:banghead :banghead


So where is the rear brake presure switch for the rear brakes?

1990 K75 RT. The front switch works ok, rear brake lite comes on ok. not so with the rear .And I thought it was the bulb monitor system Wrong.. Need help:scratch :scratch :scratch :dunno :dunno :thumb

There is no pressure switch. The rear brake uses either a plunger type switch, or a microswitch.

These are contacted by the bolt/screw on the brake pedal. They can be found behind the right side footpeg/brake lever mount/carrier. The plunger type is prone to failure from environmental exposure (wet, crap).. the microswitch less so. Unfortunately - they aren't interchangeable without swapping out the footpeg mount since the casting was modified slightly when the change was made.

It would appear your 1990 has the microswitch (PN-10):

Found the switch. Swich siezed on the off position, replaced it all is well now with my "Tink" . Thanks Don:bow :bow
