anybody using dynabeads in their tires equipped with the BMW TPM system? any problems. i put them in my wife's R1200R with TPM. SHe had her bike at the dealer to get it's 6000 and they told her the beads would damage the sensors and took them out.
she felt intimidated by the dealer so did not question and did not call me.http://www.bmwmoa.org/forum/images/smilies/banghead.gif
i can't see how they would put the sensor at risk, which lies on the inside of the rim and the beads lay on the inside of the tire.
thanks

I don't know about sensors becase my GS, doesn't have any. But if you have questions you could E-mail, Ron Schmidt at Motorcyclerandr.com ( stand for Motorcycle Repair and Rendevous) and ask or call 1-801-255-1444, in SLC, UT. Ron is a 30+ yr BWM Master mechanic and runs an independence shop, he's seen and heard it all and will give you an honest answer. Might cost a few cents to call but it's worth it, if your near SLC, UT stop by and visit they are great guy's.

Posting the same message to multiple forums might be considered spamming by some people. I'll put it down to a mistake, and close this thread. It is now where it belongs in the Hexhead forums.
