Hi Folks - I am heading off this weekend to look at a 2007 F650GS with only 200 miles on it. It is black, in showroom condition, has ABS, hand guards, dakar windscreen, center stand, and heated grips (no bags or anything else included).

The seller wants $8,300 but appears to be very negotiable - Any thoughts on what would be a decent offer to make? I know the MSRP was $7,100 with options at $750 for ABS and grips - not sure how much the center stand, windscreen and handguards run. No idea if BMW was dealing on these bikes but I am guessing there was some dealing or incentives.

Any guidance would be most welcomed, thanks!

Here's a price comparison...

3 weeks ago I bought a 2007 F650GS with 1100 miles for $7,400 from the local BMW dealer. It includes ABS, bags, 20" Cee Bailie screen, heated grips. This is in New Mexico in case location affects resale.

A used F650 at better than $8K? Why is it back in the showroom? If it was my money I would buy the new bike - comes with peace of mind that it has not met with some misfortune. Also, enjoy customizing it to suit yourself - it's fun.
