I just purchased my first BMW, 2008 R 1200 GS. I missed the registration for camping so will purchase day passes when I get there. I'll be leaving on the 17th from Layton Utah. I haven't selected a route yet so I am open to teaming up with other riders coming through at that time. Vick

Sent you a PM.

Hi, Vick

I'm in Ogden and will be going to the MOA rally, but on the 16th. I need to get there early on the 17th. There will be quite a few from SLC going up on the 17th.

Are you a member of the Utah BMW motorcycle club? If not, then consider visiting our meeting this Saturday at the Brighton Store for breakfast at 9:30 am. I'll be going up if you want to ride along. You don't have to be a member to visit the meeting. We like guests. I'll probably be asking about who's going to Gillette during the meeting.

Give me a call if interested. Phone numbers are in the PM.

I thought you could always register at the gate for $45 and camp anywhere you can find a spot. Camping is first come - first served without a cutoff isn't it? Probably too late to join the MOA for a discount. Bummer. It is BYOS or bring your own shade.

You can join and pay the 35$ at the same time! OR, pay the 45$ non member entry, but I'm pretty sure the first statement is true on site at the rally registration:). Maybe? My wife and I pass though Utah on Sunday from Delta,Utah and up towards Vernal for the night at the KOA Vernal, Utah:). Join us if you wish as the KOA Vernal is a likely stop for us on Sunday night. GSA1200'07 and a KLR650'08. We hit the rally Tuesday night or Wednesday morning. Happy Trails, Randy"Polarbear":thumb :dance :usa
