Yesterday 7/6 my 08 1200GS would not restart.Warning flashed with EWS sign showing.I tried both of my spare keys.Nothing.Dealer closed on Mondays.Help please. Thanks

You need to get to the dealer for the EWS ring changout. Your bike is surely in the VIN range for the EWS antenna ring campaign. To avoid transporting the bike on a flatbed, you could get to the dealer and buy the replacement ring $36, remove the cover from the front of the ring and plug into the new ring, part # 61 35 7 705 247. Hold it near the key, start the bike and drive there. Then they would replace the old ring and you would have a spare.
