The Flames sure looked good yesterday... I think it's going to be a 7 game series with at least one or two O.T. games. Tampa has some depth and the smarts on the bench to figure out how to use it. Stay tuned...

Hockey?!?! Someone should take your Hoosier Card away for not posting about our own Indiana Pacers in the NBA Eastern Conference Finals. And you call yourself a Hoosier...:D

Yup, most 'Merican don't know squat about hockey. However in the ice belt I am actually finding people who know hockey. No, it is not quite The Game yet, but the local high schools have teams and Notre Dame games actually sell out.
There are a couple of good 'Merican players as can be seen by the World Cup 04 Team:
Tony Amonte (Hingham, Mass./Philadelphia Flyers)
Bill Guerin (Wilbraham, Mass./Dallas Stars)
Steve Konowalchuk (Salt Lake City, Utah/Colorado Avalanche)
Mike Modano (Livonia, Mich./Dallas Stars)
Brian Rolston (Flint, Mich./Boston Bruins)
Bryan Smolinski (Toledo, Ohio/Ottawa Senators)
Keith Tkachuk (Melrose, Mass./St. Louis Blues)
Doug Weight (Warren, Mich./St. Louis Blues)
Jason Blake (Moorhead, Minn./New York Islanders)
Craig Conroy (Potsdam, N.Y./Calgary Flames)
Chris Drury (Trumbull, Conn./Buffalo Sabres)
Jeff Halpern (Potomac, Md./Washington Capitals)
Jamie Langenbrunner (Cloquet, Minn./New Jersey Devils)
and Jeremy Roenick (Boston, Mass./Philadelphia Flyers).
Chris Chelios (Chicago, Ill./Detroit Red Wings)
Derian Hatcher (Sterling Heights, Mich./Detroit Red Wings)
Brian Leetch (Corpus Christi, Texas/Toronto Maple Leafs)
Matthieu Schneider (New York, N.Y./Detroit Red Wings)
Ken Klee (Kansas City, Mo./Toronto Maple Leafs)
Jordan Leopold (Golden Valley, Minn./Calgary Flames)
Aaron Miller (Buffalo, N.Y./Los Angeles Kings)
Brian Rafalski (Dearborn, Mich./New Jersey Devils).
Ty Conklin (Anchorage, Alaska/Edmonton Oilers)
Robert Esche (Whitesboro, N.Y./Philadelphia Flyers)
Rick DiPietro (Winthrop, Mass./New York Islanders)
However I am rooting for the Flames, although the wife is rooting for Tampa.:dunno

Great game last night (unless you are pulling for the Flames) I'm sticking to my prediction of a 7 game series with at least one O.T. game.

This is my first post. Hope it works... Glad to see there are some hockey fans out there. This series is going 7 with Tampa Bay winning the cup.

7? or will the Flames step up and put this away on home ice in 6? They have to win a home game sooner or later. I knew we'd see an O.T. game and 5 sure didn't leave me disappointed. Game 6 on Saturday should be some great hockey.

I would love to see the Flames put it away in 6 on the home
ice. Man, that town would be rockin'!

How 'bout them Bolts! Not that I'm a fan of Florida by any means but I'm an Eastern Conference guy and still think Tampa will win in 7. Guess we'll see Mon. night.

Great Game. I am a Devil's fan. But I want to see the cup go to Canada. Go Flames!

Woooo Hoooo What a Game!!! WOW! I'm a Pittsburgh Pens / Bufallo Sabres fan (too long of a story to explain) so I'm just sitting back watching some great hockey unfold. Upsides to either team winning... If I had to guess, I'd say that Tampa is going to pull it off.

What a heckuva Game 6! As a Tampa native, I'm pulling hard for the Bolts.
Can't wait to see tonight's game.

Hmmm, the Bucs won the Superbowl last year, the Lightning won the Stanley Cup this year, does that mean the Devil Rays are going to win the World Series next year? :rofl

I thought the Pistons were going to bring the Stanley Cup home.
