My K1200LT 2005
Started brake rattle after about 6,000 miles it has 25,000 now and all dealers have said a little noise is normal. Well the noise is louder and at parking lot speed.
Today while laying on my back and washing the rear wheel and turning it, I herd the noise it was the brake rotor and feels loose when moving it side to side. Is this normal or do I have real problem ? Thanks for any help.

This is a common problem on the LT. They use a floating rotor and sometimes they float to much. On the BMWLT site they are called cow bells since this bike is a fat heifer.
