r1100r sport windshield mounting

I just bought a 1996 R110R that came with a stock sport windshield and hardware, but I need a diagram showing how the four struts are installed. It looks like they mount to two other tubular struts coming up from under the yoke. Any help appreciated. Thanks.

I am not sure if your '96 is like my '02. Recently I had the same problem and discovered that I was missing the short parts that connect the tubular bars to the yoke.

The higher bars mount to the bolts that hold the instument panel. The lower bars mount to the headlight bolts.

Phil: Sincere thanks for responding. I finally figured it out. I had to remove the short instrument struts and put in the longer struts going to the yoke that came with the original sport windshield. The instruments mount on them. The upper struts bolt to the underside of the handlebars, there's a tapped hole on each side. Had me scratching my head for a while since I didn't have a diagram or another bike to look at. Tony Swindell
