I have a 2008 K1200LT and I would like the factory intercom to be bluetooth so I can listen to the radio (in stereo), intercom and GPS through a bluetooth headset. Has anybody done this? If so, what is needed to connect to the bike for both riders to use it?

Let me see if I can do this...
First you will need to "bluetooth" the OEM equipment, using a wiRevo. The GPS would be handled by the wiRevo along with the radio, which would need to be on (the) a wiRevo. As for Intercom....

Go here http://www.benchmarkhelmets.com/ and read about the new stereo/ intercom unit.

Good Luck...

Thank you very much for the information. I am assuming I will need 2 BT adapters for 2 up along with 2 cable adapters to plug in where the intercom cables plug in.

Hmmmm.... that can be a problem, bluetooth only comms to one source, at a time. Check or even call the manufacture and check into it I don't think you can bluetooth the helmet(s) to the same audio source, ie the CD player, Satellite radio. You can bluetooth the GPS and Audio to the rider...intercom the rider and pillon.... then have the pillon have their own audio source with their own music... Ipod, MP3, etc.

Thanks again for the information. I might just use wires at first and experiment with bluetooth. If I get it to work I will be sure to post it.
