Sound System Problem

I just purchased my 05 K1200LT in the Chicago area and discovered on the ride back to Denver that my sound system doesn't work at all, no radio or CD tunes of any kind (buttons do light up when I press the on button). I just stopped in to Denver BMW to make an appointment for my 12000 mile service and they tested the fuses and various controls and couldn't find anything wrong. When I bring it in they will conduct a comprehensive diagnosis but in the interest of saving a few bucks on their hourly rate I'm wondering if anyone has had this problem before?
