Backrest and Highway Pegs for K1200LT

I am looking at purchasing a backrest and some type of highway pegs for my '02 LT. I have looked on-line at the backrest made by Bakup, and have also looked online at the highway pegs made by Mick-O-Pegs. Does anyone have experience with either of these two producst?

I have never used them but have read several reports from people that have and they liked them.

+1 on the Mick o' Pegs. I gave both the Mick O pegs and the Jpegs on my LT. It is a great product with excellent support from the manufacturer. You just have to get use to the way the stick out when not engaged. I've caught my cuffs a number of times and have almost dropped the bike as a result.

I've made the trip from Stecoah NC to Long Island NY twice in one day of riding without much effort thanks in large part to th MOPs and the Jpegs. My knees really enjoy the variety of leg positions on such a long ride.

Backup Back rest- $350+

Ghetto Mod- BMW (Any series will due) headrest stuck behind the riders seat- $25\

Sold my LT and bought a GT.I hve a bakup backrest from my '06 that I will sell for 250 .if interested papaed@sbcglobal.net. It was a back saver for me.
