Anybody ever use Bel-ray oil? If so, what were your impressions and what opinions do you have of this product?

I run Bel-Ray Big twin in the transmission of my Harley Electra Glide. it seems to shift better. I run AmsOil in the engine of all my bikes.

I used it for about 50K miles in my Yamaha FZR1000. Great stuff if you can afford it.

I am an Amsoil person even though I dislike their marketing. The reason I asked about the Bel-ray was I found myself discussing it with a guy in a bike shop the other day and knew very little about the product.

Thanks for your thoughts .....

I use it in the forks (10 weight), but that's it.

Amsoil synthetic in tranny and final drive, because it is great stuff and those oil changes are not that frequent.

Castrol 20-50 motorcycle oil in engine. I would go with synthetic here, but I change the oil every 3000 miles (every 4 weeks or so) and doing it that frequently I'm not going to pay for the synthetic. I know I could wait longer to do the oil change, but every 3k is just how I was raised and how I have always been. Besides, the synthetic breaks down too.

I always used Belray in my 2 strokes in the 70's. Haven't used it since. Had good results back in the day plus I liked the way it smelled.

Please check out this link, http:////http://www.amsoil.com/lit/g2156.pdf download and print out for your friend. I'm with you about Amsoil, but there is some good data about many MC oils including Bel Ray. I had this link in a thread about BMW and Mobil1 oils in the Hexhead forum page.
