I get 40mpg no matter how I ride. I did get 50mpg while on a recent trip out west at higher elevations. I guess at over 6000ft the bike runs leaner, and I didn't notice any decrease in power. The other people on the trip all noticed a increase in mpg. I wasn't complaining.

Under 90mph, my '03 K12RS gets 43mpg one up w/luggage. Lowest I've ever seen was 38mpg, and we won't talk about how fast she was going.:deal

300-325 km on a tank,biggest fill I ever had was probably 18 litres,21 litres in the tank,so...depends how hard I turn the go lever.
