I'm confused (sometimes doesn't take much) today I was looking over my 99 1100 RT. I noticed a factory access hole at the rear of the right fairing. its just the right size to put a screwdriver in and turn the big brass screw thats inside. theres no hole in the left fairing in the same area. I orignally thought it would be for syncronizing the fuel injectors but being there is only one on the right side that can't be. any help would be welcomed. PS there is no mention of this in my service manual.:dunno

That is because you leave the left screw alone and sync the right one to the left.

I know my '02 RT has only the BBS access hole in the right side tupperware, due to the tupperware being carried over from earlier model years. So to do a Throttle Synch, I need to remove both tupperware sides to access both the throttle bodies (to install the twinmax) and to have access to the BBS'.

So to do a Throttle Synch, I need to remove both tupperware sides to access both the throttle bodies (to install the twinmax) and to have access to the BBS'.There is a screw on the right side foot well panel (black knobby thing) which permits it's removal. With it off you can connect your manometer or Twin-Max, adjust the BBS and TB throttle cable without removal of the starboard side Tupperware. Neat, huh?
