+1 on the Stebel airhorn. Just mounted one on my DR650, (already have duals on my KRS) it will raise the dead! It's a bit bulky, some innovation may be needed for mounting.
Do not waste your money on the wiring kit. The wire supplied is too small gauge, and who uses tubular glass fuses these days?! Better to buy some 12 ga wire & a blade type fuse holder, probably cost less than the kit!

I copied Kitze2's setup - works beautifully. I used the stock wiring on my 1100RT and was able to use the stock mounting bracket though I had to replace the press fit bolt with a longer one.
Who needs loud pipes when you've got a Stebel doing your talking?

Sorry, much as I like this horn the last time I used it the brain dead woman just looked over her shoulder and was wonder what the **** I was doing beeping at her. After all she only jumped in fornt of me with a few feet to spare, but she did use her turn signals.
She continued down the highway changing lanes like an idiot until I got off at the next exit. A loud horn may help some, but not all situations.
I knew I should of bought truck style air horns again! When you've got the sounds of a semi-truck blaring at an inattentive driver they seem to pay a bit more attention. :)

I don't know what the "truck style airhorns" are or how you mount them on a bike. :dunno
But if they work ......
