I have a 2000 R1100RT and I recenty bought a Tork intercom system for it. The intercom system will run off of the BMW power plug or a 9V battery. It runs fine on the 9V battery, but on the power plug the electrical noises from the engine (spark and altenator) make it difficult to talk and horrible to listen to on a long ride.
I'm an electrical engineer and I threw together a filter that works moderatly well, but before I dedicate more time to it I was wondering if there is a ready made solution. Since, I do electronics all day I would rather do something else with my free time.
I have resistive plugs. Does anyone know of an inductive plug for this motor?
