Can you guess what this nut is holding?

I believe it is the retaining screw for the right rear turn indicator on a Koenigs Blue or possibly Carabic Blue K75C or T.

You've been in there to take it out before huh? :laugh
Nasty bunch of bolts in the tail fin!
I was taking the luggage rack off to repaint it, and it wouldn't clear the signals, so off they came.

What did I win????

Or did I need to include non-ABS model (or ABS box removed [if you would have widened the view a hair to see if the ABS wiring hole was there or not I could have told you that too])?

What kind of luggage rack?

The stock one that holds the 22 liter top box is mounted by four bolts that go straight up through the tail cowl and don't interfere with the turn indicators.

Is the rack like the one Burnzilla has been trying to sell on E-Bay for months?

It's the rack connected to the corbin back seat.
I'm painting the black hardware for my windshield while it's off for replacement, so I thought I'd tackle the chipped paint and exposed metal on the rack.

Idiot design for that...I replaced that screw with a thinner diameter bolt.
That way you can stick a spanner on the head of the bolt on the inside and a ratchet on the nut on the other side(once remove the orange blinker.

Technically, its a screw as there isn't a nut on the other end, no?

Why do I expect the trajectory to soon be precipitous and sudden? ;)

That's correct there was no nut on the other side.

Plenty of nuts here tho...... More than enough to make up for one missing on the other end of that screw.

Technically it is a cap screw (hex head). Bolts are used for structural connections and are normally A325, 490 etc. All of those fasteners that have a Grade rating i.e. 5 or 8 are cap screws. Don't ask why just go with it.
