Elf Pegs

My 2004 1150RT came with Elf pegs mounted on the cylinder head covers. Does anyone know how to remove these things so that I can adjust the valves?

There are two screws holding each one on. Both of these screws are to the rear. (The front of each elf peg hooks on the cylinder head) You may need to remove tupperware to get them off.

also - They may not be metric...
