Indeed
Some days I think there should be another forum, just below "doghouse" for the "Which tire/oil/aftermarket seat/windscreen should I use" debates....

How wide is the chickenstrip?

The width of the chickenstrip is directly related to the ability and size of the kahunis of the operator, not the tires.

How bout comparing models not just brands. That's like asking what's better a Chevy or a Ford. Like comparing a Chevette to a Mustang is the same as comparing a Pinto to a Camaro.

There is a difference? Chevys and Fords, Pintos and Mustangs
How bought size, we could all line em up and compare sizes too!:dunno :dunno
We could start another tire poll, this time for size or width. Maybe one for air pressure or color, yeah how about a poll for color you know like is your tire black or black or black or black or black or black or black or black or black or black or black or black or black or black or black or black or black or black or black or black or black or black or black or black or black or black or black or black or black or black or black or black or black or black or black or black or black or black or black or black or black or black or black or black or black or black or black or black or black or black or black or black or black or black or black or black or black or black or black or black or black or black or black or black or black or black or black or black or black or black or black or black or black or black or black or black or black or black or black or black or black or black or black or black or black or black or black or black or black or black or black or black or black or black or black or black or black or black or black or black or black or black or black.:bliss

Hey JD. Your one of the few people I've heard that had something to say about the Avon tires. (or tyres as they say over the water).
What bike do you have these on? How long have you had them? How do they stick vs. the tires that originally came on your bike? (Metzelers?)
I don't see this brand discussed very much but I only got about 7.5k on my Metzelers and I would like to change to another brand.
Any opinions would be appreciated. Color is not a factor.

James, I have seen many positive comments about the avons. I plan on using them after the Conti Force I have wear out. the bulletin board where the comments are is no more:cry but I can assure you the the R/RS crowd thinks highly of the Avon azaro tires.
