Found a 84 R80GS for sale, with 14K, for $3000 But guy says it is a paralever Is this possible with an 84?? (all my research says 86 was first year of para, was it introduced earlier in Europe??) I have not seen bike but will try to look at this weekend. Seller thought it was a 80 but now thinks it's an 84.

I think you're right...I always thought the '81-'84 up to '85 were all monolevers. According to the website, the year boundary is a bit fuzzy.

If paralever, the year is wrong, if mono, the seller doesn't know what he has.
