Trans swap

A friend of mine has a 77 R100/7 with bad tranny. I have a tranny from a 74 R60/6, and we can also get a trans from an 84 R80 RT. Well my question is what are the changeability of these trannys in the 77/7??

The 74 transmission will fit but not the 84.

does the /7 have the gear shift linkage?-- you will still need that to make the 74 work

No linkage looks just like the /6. Talked to Clem at BMW of Denver and he said same. (I couldn't reach him when I posted this) Thanks
