Is there an easy way to remagnetize a magneto rotor. If I can't do it at my house; can you tell me who does this?

Why do you ask? What is the situation you're trying to correct? What era magneto are you talking about? It is my understanding that a rotor stored within the body of the magneto should retain its charge for quite some time. If they're separated for long periods, the magnetism can be lost.
What I gleaned from the Yahoo /2 forum is that the later /2 magnetos cannot be recharged, as they are permanent magnets. The following link was posted:

But the general consensus seemed to be that recharging these later magnetos was marginal at best.
