Outdoor cover for R1200RT

I have a 2007 Rt and also got the BMW outdoor cover which I asked to be thrown in with the deal. Has anyone else noticed or had the seams opening up on their cover like I'm seeing on mine? I'm not too happy with this going on after 3 months of daily use. I will contact the dealer next week to see what or if they intend to do anything with it knowing I'll probably get the run around on it.

I would think it carries a 12 month warranty?

My dealer did not throw in a new cover so you are ahead of me there. Bought a new cover in 06/7 when picking up my new RT & the seams on the front have begun to split. Will just restitch it one rainy day. BTW, great color for your RT, just like mine!:thumb

I imagine daily use of a cover, especially over the winter, could be pretty tough on any type of cloth cover. I have the BMW cover and only used it at work when rain was a possibility and it is holding up great. My $.02.

My year-old cover is fine, but it isn't a BMW. It is a Wal-mart $19.95 generic......
