I was putting an extra pair of gloves into one of the side cases this morning, and for some reason turned the key back before I folded the handles down (maybe because it was 6am). Anyhow, now I can't get the key to turn back so I can fold the handles down. Does anyone have any pearls of wisdom to help me out?
Thanks in advance.

You've probably bent the orange tab. Try and straighten it, see if that helps.

Yep, sounds like the bent Orange Tab. It's real easy to push down on the handle and not realize that the tab is not fully retracted, then it could be bent enough to not allow the tab to fit back into the handle.
SOLUTION: pliers, the longer bill, the better. :thumb The metal in the tab is pretty soft, so a little bend will let things get back together. The fix can be done multiple times in the normal life of a saddlebag, but I wouldn't push my luck too much. Breaking the tab will mean that you will have to strap the case to keep it closed.:bluduh

It was the tab alright. Didn't even notice I had bent it until you guys said something. Thanks much!
