Hello,

I've been out of motorcycling for a few years and have recently gotten back into it. I used to have two or three really good sources for used parts, and now I can't remember them.

Would anyone care to post their favourite used parts sources and include the quality of their service and merchandise, please?

The sources I used to have were small businesses that bought used parts and wrecked bikes and salvaging the good parts.

Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

Sincerely,

Joe

Eurotech Motorsports up here in the Bay Area (Watsonville?) is good for used stuff, or they used to be, and Re-Psycle seems to have a good rep. I think they both advertise in ON.

Eurotechs is now located in Chico, CA; I think Chris continues to advertise in BMW ON. Jason Buck's Parts Haus in Southern Calfiornia is a good source, too. Finally, you'll find that most (or at least many) dealers have rooms or attics or boxes full of old stuff...but you have to ask.

Galen Perry, who runs Perry Beemer Exchange near Americus, IN, has tons of used parts, especially airhead stuff.
The address is:
7414 E. 975N
Delphi, IN 46923

Joe,

You might check with Boxerworks (http://www.boxerworks.com/market.phtml).

I can't speak to the quality of service or merchandise, but they recently put together a new, interactive site to compliment their ads in ON.

I'll second the recommendation for RePsycle. I've ordered from them twice -- good stuff, fair prices, and prompt shipping. As Kbasa says, their ad is in every issue of the ON.
