1200 gs engine hot

i have had my 07 gs for a year now and don't recall the engine being hot to the touch, just felt the bike after a short ride and it was really hot,am i losing my marbles or are they that way?

I'm going to have to go with your losing your marbles. The engine will definately be hot. Don't try touching the exhaust system after a ride. You'll have 3rd degree burns. If someone could make an internal combustion engine that gives off no heat we would be getting about 100 mpg.:drink
