Do you ever find yourself talking to your motorcycle and what do you say?

Does it answer back?

Well, Yeah! All conversations are private. But usually I'm telling the K12RS "Einstein" how well he's running and he is telling me how well I'm riding.

When I get home from my usually rainy commute, close the garage doors, I kiss my two fingers touch her tank and say thank you for getting us home safe...
Again. :heart
Then I turn out the light as she slowly cools down for her evening sleep. :::tink::: tink::: :::tink:::

No, but my bike talks to me often . . . I need a hundred dollars for this; I need a hundred dollars for that . . . is there ANYTHING pertaining to BMW's that doesn't cost at least $100?

Talking to a pencil is just plain crazy, but I talk to sandwiches...

I talk to one of my rides, an airhead - R65, especially when it is cold.

Why, certainly! I believe that the previous owner's soul is still with my '03 GS. Dave Chamberlain bought the bike from his local dealer in Indianapolis, intending to do a lot of touring pending his upcoming retirement. He had it farkled out with that intent.
He enjoyed commuting on it and made one long distance trip to Florida before he passed unexpectedly, just before his retirement. I bought Dave's bike from his daughter, who had listed it on Ebay. It barely had 9K miles on it and apparently, from it's showroom condition, he had tenderly cared for it. According to his daughter, like myself, he was inseam-challenged and had one-inch soles added to his riding boots to cope better with the bike.
I know that he enjoyed the trip-of-a-lifetime which I did last summer riding through Canada and Alaska. And I often thank him for the trouble-free odyssey we made together and I always beg his pardon whenever I have a brain fart while riding. :heart

Depends, is the bike upright of on its side in a ditch?

yes, all the time, about like I talk to my horse. Last summer on my cross country ride I even made up songs to sing to it. But I've talked to my bikes since I was 12 and told my cushman how much I loved it!:heart I would also talk to my old police special HD trying to coax a little more speed out of it when I was trying to catch someone on a hot rice burner special:laugh

Ain't it the truth brother, ain't it the truth. BTW the horse has thrown me way more times than the bike:doh
Absolutely! Of the five of us, me – myself – I – the other guy inside the helmet and the bike, the bike is the only sane one.
Just ask her. :brad

Only to tell it that I'm sorry for the winter weather and that we will be on the road very soon.
